    *Tuesday, November 14 - The Annual Upson County Farm Bureau Business Breakfast will be held on Tuesday, November 14 at the Thomaston First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall at 7 am. The cost to attend is $5 per person and you may RSVP by calling Upson County Farm Bureau at 706-648-6668. Guest speaker for the meeting will be Secretary of State Brian Kemp.

    Saturday, November 18 - Thomaston is pleased to announce a Walk with a Doc Program, which is a national organization based in Ohio that was founding on physicians inviting their patients to join them in walking to help improve their individual and collective health.

    Our first walk will be 11/18/2017 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at The Greatest Generation Memorial Park in Thomaston.  We invite everyone out to join us as we get this new endeavor devoted to cardiovascular disease prevention kicked off.     Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24 - The Chamber of Commerce office will be closed in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday.

    *Last Sun's Up on Upson Breakfast  for 2018 - Wednesday, December 6 - The Sun's Up on Upson State of the City and County Address will take place on Weds, December 6 at 7:30 am at the auditorium of URMC.

    Please join us as Thomaston City Manager Russell Thompson and Upson County Commissioner Chairman Norman Allen give us an update on the City of Thomaston and Upson County.
